From September 23 to 25, the largest European fiber-optic communication exhibition (ECOC 2024) was successfully held at Messe Frankfurt, Germany. Industry experts and partners from home and abroad gathered to exchange the latest optical communication technologies. The show covered optical communications, sensing, quantum optoelectronics and more, attracting over 300 companies and more than 6,000 industry visitors.
At the exhibition, Guangdong Triple-Stone Technology presented more than 30 core products and solutions to overseas customers through multimedia demonstrations, physical displays and product presentations, attracting visitors from around the world.

Driven by the exponential growth of data traffic from video streaming, AI, machine learning and cloud computing, data center networks (DCN) face challenges. Traditional electronic switches struggle to meet growing bandwidth and connectivity requirements while maintaining low power consumption and low latency. Optical switching technology offers a promising solution by providing high-bandwidth, low-latency and energy-efficient switching.

Triple-Stone's new small-port OCS, the multicast matrix optical switch TSMOS-360DC1, is a high-performance, non-blocking, port-configurable all-optical switch with broadcasting capability. In multicast mode, light from any port can broadcast to other ports, or perform group broadcasting; receiving ports can independently choose to accept or reject, enabling extremely flexible one-to-many connectivity.

TSMOS-360DC1 suits optical signal routing, optical link protection, automated testing, high-performance computing, network monitoring and optical add-drop multiplexing, with full customization available for feature-rich optical switching solutions.

Through our GUI and embedded software, the 17 ports of TSMOS-360DC1 can be divided into N groups with different port counts; each group executes independent tasks, configured in symmetric (N×N) or asymmetric (N×M) combinations.

Each group (N×N or N×M) can be protected by a spare fiber port that restores failed connections caused by port faults.
